Carbon emissions associated to the delivery of e-commerce orders is expected to grow to 5.7 billion by 2025. Which is an absurd number, roughly equivalent to 14 million miles in a car.

German based startup, Liefergrün, is looking to cut this by 70% using a network of micro-hubs with human-powered, or electric powered delivery vehicles

Liefergrün recently announced they raised €3 million in a seed round to help them expand beyond Germany.
