Life's too short for boring or confusing.

My mission is to seek our the interesting, weird, fascinating and practical uses for the emerging technology we hear so much about.

Blah-Blah

One of the greatest accomplishments of the technology industry is to create meaningless strings of characters that we're supposed to understand and interpret into practical, real-world benefits.

With these interviews, articles and opinions I hope to shed light on what can be done with these technologies, focusing on interesting usages of technology to solve problems or create new products, services or experiences.

My background

scott writes about interesting technology and placesI've worked for household names (Vodafone) and industry giants (Qualcomm and IHS Markit), helped expand and grow startups internationally (Communigate, Miyowa, RootMetrics), founded my own businesses (InnovationScouts.tech, ExpandAndLaunch.com, Ovasto.com) and advised others (Association of Colleges - Create, LocalPuzzle.com, AutomationSquared).

I've enjoyed working in technology, strategy, marketing, business development and communications in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, Ireland and the USA.

What I've enjoyed the most is being able to help bring fantastic new technologies come to market that make a positive impact to our lives.

My goal with this blog is to help non-techies discover and understand the wonderful things technology can, and is doing in the world around us.

Please do get in touch if you have an idea you think should be covered, or if I can help you with your strategy in anyway.
