So, What Is "Tech For Good" Anyway?
Tech4Good or Technology For Good - What is it all about?Tech For Good is broadly defined as companies and their technologies, organisations, projects or even individuals who aim to deliver a positive impact on the world around us. In many cases Tech For Good (also known as Tech4Good) is defined as the use of technology to effect deliberate, positive social benefit.
On this website, I extend the focus of Tech For Good, broadening to cover the positive impacts technology can have on health, education, well-being, biodiversity, climate, equality, work and ethics. In essence, I extend the concept of Technology For Good to any technology, company, individual, organisation or project that intentionally looks to address one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
The Tech For Good examples below encompass that broader definition using a definition I describe as "Tech With Purpose".
